# What happens to the pre-authorisation charge if you decline my order?

If we have to decline your order for whatever reason, we simply cancel your pre-authorisation payment, meaning that we won't call for the funds. Please note that your bank might occasionally reserve ("ringfence") the funds for up to 5 days, and unfortunately we can't speed up this process from our end. You can speed this up by simply calling your bank.
